ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Bjorn Karringer (Landskoner, Sweden) shot a three-round 219 (+9) to lead the Flagler College golfers, playing as individuals, at the second annual St. Augustine Invitational that concluded Sunday at the St. Johns Country Club (par 70). Arnond Vongvanij of Bradenton won medalist honors with a 205 (-5). Five of the eight Flagler golfers finished in the top 20.

Ian Hoffman (New Smyrna Beach, Fla.) and Brad Barfield (Bryceville, Fla.) each shot a three-round total of 222 (+12) to finish in a tie for 14th place. Anders Ekdahl (Skanor, Sweden) and Dustin Funari (Homestead, Fla.) each shot 224 (+14) to tie for 19th. Adam Boghosian (Niskayuna, N.Y.) carded a 232 while Mike McGann (Hallendale Beach, Fla.) finished with a shot back with a 233 and Matt Scheck (Sebring, Fla.) rounded out the field for the Saints with a 234.

Flagler will close out its fall campaign at the SCAD Invitational, Oct. 28-30, in Savannah, Ga.
