The Saints cruised to a 90-59 win against conference team the Florida Memorial Lions. After a couple of close minutes at the beginning of the game, the Saints pulled away at the 8-minute mark in the first half and never looked back.
At the half the Saints were led by Carlton Summers, who shot 4 of 7 from the field with 12 points, and Chris Crumpler, who was a perfect 3 for 3 from 3-point range, adding 9 points.
In the second half the Saints continued to roll, and the lead continued to grow. Darrell Freeman had a strong second half, finishing the game with 9 points. Rebounding was a key for the Saints, who out-rebounded their competition 47-32.
The Saints were led by Crumpler who had 19 points. Summers and John Randolph had an all-around good game. Summers had 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Randolph had 15 points, four rebounds and six assists. Jamie Jenkins led the team with eight rebounds.
