INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Flagler College men's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 11 in the third of three NCAA Division II Super Region 2 rankings, which was released Wednesday afternoon.

Flagler (11-2-6 overall, 11-2-6 in-region record) is one of three Peach Belt Conference teams ranked in the top 12. Lander University (9-2-6, 9-2-6) holds at No. 7 while the University of North Georgia (9-4-5, 9-4-5) moved up one to No. 9.

The super region combines both the south and southeast regions.

Topping the ranking again is Palm Beach Atlantic University (12-0-2, 12-0-2). Lynn University (11-2-1, 11-2-1), Florida Tech (7-2-7, 7-2-7), and Nova Southeastern University (8-3-3, 8-3-3) remain the same as last week at Nos. 2-4. Mississippi College (11-1-4, 10-1-4) held at No. 5 while Rollins College (8-3-5, 8-3-5) moved up three spots to No. 6. Anderson University (11-1-4, 11-1-4) dropped to No. 8. The University of West Florida (10-1-5, 10-1-5) holds on at No. 10 while Young Harris College (13-1-3, 13-1-3) dropped to No. 12.

The Saints overall strength of schedule is .497, which is 39th in the region. Flagler's D2 Performance Indicator, which is a system that assigns numerical values to game results depending on the site and quality of the opponent, is 16.737. That number is 15th in the region. The national tournament selection criteria are based on, in no particular order: in-region winning percentage, D2 winning percentage, D2 strength of schedule, D2 head-to-head competition, and results vs. common D2 opposition.

The NCAA regional rankings are the official rankings used by the committee to select the national tournament field. The field will be comprised of 40 teams, and the Super Region 2 will have 10 teams. However, two more polls are to be announced until the official release of the 40-team field on Monday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. Eastern.
