Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – No. 25 (Campbell's/ITA Division II) Flagler College rolled to a 5-1 victory over Erskine College  in an NCAA Division II Southeast Region women's tennis second round match Monday afternoon at Bacon Park.

Flagler, the No. 5-seed, improved to 10-9 on the season. The win today evens Flagler record at 3-3 in the NCAA postseason since becoming eligible in 2009. Erskine had its 12-match winning streak snapped and ended its season with a 23-4 record.

The Saints got off to a fast start by sweeping all of the doubles matches. Krista Ingrilli and Esther Santiago defeated Nikki Miller and Abby O'Reilly 8-3 at No. 3. Meanwhile, Rachel Gould and Barbora Sebkova downed Mika Goyette and Tessa Rheault 8-5 at No. 1 doubles. Veronica Figueroa and Jennifer Saviano out-lasted Corin Hallman and Victoria Stephens 9-7 at No. 2.

Erskine recorded the first point in singles when Hallman defeated Figueroa in straight sets, 6-2 and 6-3, at No. 1. But Ingrilli cruised past Miller, 6-4 and 6-0, at No 6 and Santiago triumphed over Stephens, 6-4 and 6-2, at No. 5 to end the match. 

Flagler takes on No. 3 Armstrong Atlantic State University tomorrow (May 1) at 10 a.m. with the winner advancing to the Round of 16 on May 16 at Louisville, Ky. Armstrong swept Flagler 9-0 earlier in the season.
