Box Score AIKEN, S.C. – No. 25 (Campbell's/ITA Division II Top 25) Flagler College defeated USC Aiken 5-1 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Tuesday afternoon at the USC Aiken Tennis Complex.

Flagler evened its overall record at 8-8 and improved to 7-4 in the Peach Belt. USC Aiken dropped to 12-6 overall and 6-4 in conference play.

Veronica Figueroa (Orlando, Fla., Cypress Creek HS) and Jennifer Saviano (Davie, Fla., St. Thomas Aquinas HS) teamed to beat Margot Simon and Shauna Williams 8-4 at No. 2. Esther Santiago (Madrid, Spain, Colegio Virgen de Europa) and Krista Ingrilli (Ocala, Fla., Trinity Catholic HS) dominated Andrea Ceidel and Gina Kothari 8-1.

The Saints won the first three singles matches to end the match. Figueroa won 6-3 and 6-3 over Manon Hermens while Saviano bested Simon 6-1 and 6-1. Barbora Sebkova (Prague, Czech Republic, Gymnázium a Sportovní gymnázium Prípotocní) triumphed over Franziska Regel 6-1 and 6-1.

Flagler wraps up the regular season at the University of Montevallo on Sunday (Apr. 15) at noon Central.
