SAVANNAH, Ga. − The Flagler College men's golf team carded a 1-under par 287 and lead by two strokes and
Andrew Pressentin (Estero, Fla./Miami Palmetto HS) is the leader in the clubhouse with a 3-under 69 after the first round of the rain-shortened Armstrong Atlantic State University Pirate Invitational at the Southbridge Golf Club (par-72; 6922 yards) Monday afternoon. The first round of 18 was cancelled and tomorrow will have the originally scheduled 18 for the final round.
Flagler leads the host school, Armstrong Atlantic which tallied 289 strokes. Pressentin leads David Patterson of AASU by two strokes and were the only two golfers to break par.
Patrick Lamb (Lake Wales, Fla./Western Carolina U.) is in a four-way tie for third place with an even par 72.
Joel Dahlenburg (St. Augustine, Fla./Bartam Trail HS) and
Alex Bennett (Rochester, Mich./Scottsdale CC) each shot a 1-over 73 and are tied for seventh place.
Chris Bray (Hilliard, Fla./Hilliard HS) rounded out Flagler's scorers with a 4-over 76 and is in a tie for 27th place.
