Galik had a spectacular four-year career on the hard courts of the Flagler Tennis Center earning National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-America honors in every season that she played. The women’s tennis team was ranked in the NAIA Top 10 in each of her four seasons. Galik was ranked No. 1 in the nation in singles play and was ranked No. 18 in the country in doubles play with teammate Caroline Donders in 1998 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. She won the singles competition at the NAIA National Championships as a freshman and boasted a 30-0 record. As a sophomore, Galik finished the season ranked No. 3 in singles and was No. 7 in double with Delyse Pretorius. She advanced to the semifinals at the NAIA Championships playing with a broken hand. Galik returned to the top of the national rankings, in singles, as a junior, and was ranked No. 4 in doubles play along with Pretorius. As a senior, she ranked No. 2 in singles and No. 4 in doubles, again with Pretorius. Galik was selected as the 2001 ITA Senior Player of the Year in the NAIA. She was a recipient of ITA’s James O’Hara Sportsmanship Award in 2000.
