Pete Peaver — Pete Peaver was a four-year starter for the Flagler baseball team from 1978-81. Upon his graduation, Peaver held several career records. He also has the distinction of playing on the first Flagler baseball team to reach the postseason. In 1981, Peaver played on a Flagler team that had an 18-game winning streak, including a 4-3 win at Florida State and a win over Jacksonville. He is also a member of Flagler’s all-Decade Team (1970’s). Peaver is currently the Dean of Students at Bartram Trail High School in Jacksonville and has served 25 years in the St. Johns County School District.
