Flagler College Athletics

Dan Stewart - Stewart was a student-athlete at Flagler College where he went on to become the Athletic Director. He is currently the Dean of Student Services. He helped form the Florida Sun Conference and was selected its first commissioner in 1993, a position he held until the summer of 2006. During his tenure as Athletic Director, the college won six national championships, volleyball was discontinued then resurrected, women’s soccer was added and athletic scholarships were begun.
