Brewer lettered all four years in golf at Flagler. He earned team most valuable player honors in 1981, but his post-graduate successes are even more valuable. Brewer has been inducted as a Top 100 Teacher in America by Golf Magazine, has been named North Florida PGA Teacher of the Year and has served on the PGA of America’s Presidents Council. He also has his own golf academy – The Brad Brewer Golf Academy – which is based in Orlando. Brewer also co-founded the Arnold Palmer Golf Academies with his childhood idol and mentor, Arnold Palmer. Recently he was selected by The Golf Channel to serve as its Director of Instruction for its on-line golf academy. The Minnesota native resides in Orlando with his wife, Wanda, and their four children.
