AUGUSTA, Ga. − Elin Karlsson (Vanersborg, Sweden/Vaxjo Fria Gymnasium) of Flagler College was selected as the Peach Belt Conference's Women's Golfer of the Week this afternoon, by conference officials, for the period ending Sept. 15.

Karlsson finished third at the Queens Invitational which concluded Tuesday at the TPC Sawgrass-Pete Dye Course. She finished just two shots back of the medalist with a 9-over par 153. Karlsson had the lowest round of the tournament when she carded a 1-over 73 in the final round.

The Flagler women's golf team will be back on the links this Sunday and Monday at the Eat a Peach Collegiate in Macon, Ga., hosted by Mercer University.
